Will accompanied Ellen on “What Child is This?” at one of the Christmas Eve services. It was Will’s first public gig on guitar and they both did a great job.

Where does the time go?
Ellen will have her graduation party soon (sigh!). It’s hard to believe she’s going to the university this fall.
I’ve been playing around with a new photo sharing Web site, so I thought I’d try it out here. Click here to see some of the photos we shot this week. Let me know how the slide show works on your computer. If it’s too slow or it doesn’t work, I may try something different.

And other lines from Brigadoon
Ellen was cast in the ensemble and as the character, Kate, in the spring musical Brigadoon at Lincoln Southwest High School. You will recognize her by her two memorable lines: “Eek” and “pssssst!” You may also recognize her by angelic singing and graceful dancing, but I’m guessing you’ll mostly recognize her from those two lines.

Ellen was one of four carolers who sang throughout “A Christmas Carol” at Lincoln Southwest High School’s production of the Charles Dickens play. She was also the Laundress and had a speaking part.
I will be adding some images from the play, but for now you can see a few images using the link below.

Pam and Ellen mingle before the kids leave for Mexico.
Ellen leaves for Mexico
Ellen and nine other youth member of Saint Paul UMC loaded up for a week-long senior high mission trip to Allende, Mexico. There, they will help roof a Methodist church in this rural community.
Here are some photos we shot before the group loaded up in the vans.
Ellen wasn’t feeling well this morning, so we’re a little worried about her on this trip. She has a scratchy throat and when I hugged her it felt like she had a fever. She was a little melancholy this morning too, which is unlike her. Say a prayer for her.
