From the deck at Fox Spit
This was the first chance I’ve had since I’ve been here to shoot the sunrise from Dad and Anita’s deck. Every morning has been cloudy except today. Here’s a link to some photos I took around the house on Tuesday.

Here are some shots of Milo getting a bath. He doesn’t love the process, but sometimes it’s necessary, like when his allergies are acting up or, in this case, his skin itches because it’s dry.
He has a special doggy shampoo that Pam uses. Right now it’s about two hours after the process and he still smells like wet dog.

An afternoon
in Boulder Creek
Will and I spent a week in Colorado with Joe and Cynthia. We went out on Amtrak’s California Zephyr where we foolishly tried to sleep on their “comfortable” seats. We had a great breakfast in the dining car with Pharmacist Rich from Wisner and his friend Bob.
We had a nice week in Colorado. We caught a Rockies game where they beat the Dodgers. We rode tubes down Boulder Creek and soaked in Pearl Street while we were there. We spent a lot of time in downtown Denver, mostly at the Tattered Cover.
We drove up to Copper Mountain where the Colorado State Patrol nailed me for speeding on the downhill side, forcing us to use our motel money to pay for the speeding ticket. We took the ski lift up the mountain for a nice hike and enjoyed the view.
Beautiful trip and Joe and Cynthia were gracious hosts, as always.
